The Educational Protocol of Medical Emergency Response to Chemical Disaster

Abstract -- The primary purport of this study is to specify the training standard of the emergency medical response and the first-aid rescue in accordance with chemical disaster, to provide professional EMT (EMT-P) and the nursing staff the mutual rules and educational training on the aspect of chemical disaster. This is to hope that there are standards to be followed and discussed for all the trainings and maneuvers in ordinary days; and to expect that the educational training in popularizing chemical disaster rescue would be carried out more practicable and thorough training for certification method through ACLS and ATLS.
All the teaching materials are delicately selected and designed. Except requiring the preciseness of the text contents, every chapter and section is organized under unanimous structure, and has been consulted to ACLS and ATLS structures. The editing style of the study is designed to be profound yet simple with its everyday language, logically and concretely categorizes various toxicant objects and antidotes with the expectation of assisting trainees to obtain in a short training course the precise concept and standard skills that are practical to them. In addition, professional software and variables are used in editing so to keep the technical terms coincide with the translation, that make it easier to claim help to professional website, electronic book and on-line help system. With this system, academic text materials, homepages, and electronic book can keep steps with each other and renew data speedily at the same time.
Presently five educational trainings have been held with perfect response and appraisement from trainees. Then the next step we are now working on is to exam the training achievement through viewing this teaching experience, and the comments and suggestions from trainees. With this inspection, we will renovate the structure of training materials, adjust the depth of the contents and arrange an agenda that is more appropriate. We’ve found that a two-day course will present a sound effect more completely with ease, thus trainees can achieve a practical efficiency in studying.
Though the structure and contents of the teaching materials have been discussed and revised for several times, it is still the first step of the standardization. Treasure comments and suggestions from experts of all fields are the real guidance toward achieving common consensus and reaching the goal of standardization.
